STORE 81 is one of three retail galleries curated by Andreas Murkudis, widely regarded as one of Germany’s most influential voices in contemporary design and fashion.

Based in Berlin, Murkudis has built his reputation on a refined, almost curatorial eye, selecting only what speaks to him on a personal level: objects defined by craftsmanship, timeless form, and emotional resonance. His approach is rooted in his background in art and design, bringing a quiet sensibility to everything he presents.

Soft Structures invited visitors into a calm, tactile dialogue between textile and form; a study in softness, weight, and surface that reflects the understated philosophy Murkudis is known for.

The installation highlighted textiles by Designs of the Time, complemented by sofas, daybeds, rugs, and poufs from Living Divani, Nanimarquina, Typ, Daniel Heer, and Christian Haas. Together, the pieces formed a harmonious composition of textures and tones, subtle yet full of depth.

The presentation embodies a shared vision between Designs of the Time and Andreas Murkudis: an appreciation for texture, tactility, and timeless design.
