DESIGN

At the heart of our process, our design & development team carefully selects, curates, and refines the fabrics that define each collection, combining an eye for quality with an understanding of timeless style.

Natural fibers form the foundation of our textiles, pure linen, soft wool, and cotton blends that stay close to their natural origin. Each texture, every subtle irregularity, reflects the rhythm of nature and the hands that craft it, a quiet conversation between nature and craftsmanship.

Each year, this approach results in a new collection, inspired by nature and guided by the inherent qualities of the materials themselves, allowing the character, texture, and behaviour of each fabric to shape the final design.

SALES

Our sales representatives bring each year’s the new fabric collection to life across Belgium and abroad. They meet architects, designers, and workshops, providing hands-on presentations and guidance on each fabric’s application in interior projects.

They represent Designs of the Time at international trade fairs and selected industry events, allowing a wider audience to experience the textures, colours, and qualities of each collection firsthand.

Based in Sint-Niklaas, our sales team supports customers by answering technical questions, providing guidance, and processing orders, ensuring each fabric is used effectively in interiors.

SAMPLES

To support a well-informed selection process, we provide samples that allow our customers to accurately assess colours, textures, and material qualities within the context of their projects.

Each year, many samples are sent to architects, designers, and interior professionals internationally. All samples are carefully organised and stored in-house. Our team handles every request with precision, ensuring that each selection is neatly prepared, carefully packaged, and delivered in excellent condition.

Architects and designers have access to our samples, enabling them to share materials with their clients and guide them confidently through the selection process. Our collections can be viewed in our showroom and at partner locations.

WAREHOUSE

In our warehouse textiles arrive directly from the weaving mills we collaborate with and undergo a thorough quality inspection to ensure they meet our standards.

Once approved, the fabrics are carefully measured and cut to the required dimensions, with close attention to detail at every step of the process.

They are then thoughtfully packaged to protect their quality and integrity. As the operational heart of our company, the warehouse plays a vital role in guaranteeing that every fabric is handled with care and prepared for precise, reliable, and efficient distribution to our customers.

CURATED RETAILERS, ARCHITECTS & DESIGNERS

From the warehouse, the fabrics find their way to architects, designers and a carefully selected network of curated retailers and specialized interior showrooms.

These include established interior workshops and window treatment specialists, places where the fabrics are not only presented, but thoughtfully curated and transformed into upholstered furniture, curtains, and bespoke interior pieces.

Each creation is shaped, finished, and refined with precision, expertise, and a deep respect for the material, a true reflection of craftsmanship.

Designs of the Time, architects and designers collaborate closely with both workshops and curated retailers, ensuring that every application aligns seamlessly with the intended design, function, and atmosphere of the space.
